God's Sovereignty with John Blanchard

The apologist John Blanchard (1932-2021) was a remarkable writer and speaker. His personality often shined through in his works, which includes his great sense of humor. During a lecture on April 6th, 2016 at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Blanchard was discussing God’s sovereignty. He said the following:

Now let me tell you a simple way to find a verse in Scripture that speaks of the sovereignty of God. It’s really quite simple: You take your Bible and put it on [the binding] and just let it fall open.

Mr. Blanchard demonstrated this with his own Bible while explaining his point. He continues:

So it doesn’t matter where it falls, Old Testament or New, you will find there the sovereignty of God stated or implied, beyond any question whatever.
